<text>Emiliano recibe una jugosa propuesta económica de una productora alemana para participar en un programa de televisión. El único requisito es que su padre debe acompañarlo, lo cual no es un proyecto fácil pues tiene un indicio de demencia, con delirios de grandeza. Está convencido de ser el mejor poeta de Latinoamérica, de poseer poderes sobrenaturales de seducción, y espera que le den el Nobel inminentemente. Según indicaciones de su madrastra, le da tres pastillas anaranjadas al día para tenerlo controlado, pero el viejo pronto se revela inmanejable. "Crema Paraíso" es una obra que toca fibras íntimas con un humor sutil, obligándonos a cuestionar el mundo, y que se puede leer en muchas claves: novela de padre e hijo, ensayo sobre el éxito y el fracaso, crónica del desengaño revolucionario, meditación sobre el arte, elogio de la locura, o comedia de equívocos (Alianza Editorial).</text>

                <text>¿Qué hacer un domingo? recrea la semana de seis amigos que llevan una vida original dedicada al arte y la aventura. El trabajo de Sitja en este libro es muy peculiar, muy personal y a la vez absolutamente universal. La atmósfera que crea, el uso del grabado, incluso para escribir los textos, y las situaciones en las que conviven estos personajes forman parte de un imaginario muy poco común en los libros para niños. En ese sentido, podemos decir que es un libro que deja de lado por completo los lugares comunes, aunque ¿qué puede ser más común que un domingo?</text>

Siglo XXI marcado por el afán de rechazar las carencias económicas y políticas, al lado de una democracia improbable. Lo curioso es que ese afán se expresa en el desencanto de todos los personajes, ya sean venezolanos o rumanos, con sus propias realidades. Rumania y Venezuela: tan distintas, lejanas y terribles. Tan duras con sus gentes. Tan desamadas por sus jóvenes. (Lecturalia).</text>

                <text>El síndrome de Lisboa transcurre en un futuro próximo o un presente alternativo. El colapso de las comunicaciones y el fallo generalizado de la tecnología hacen que los rumores en torno a lo ocurrido al otro lado del mundo sean desalentadores y angustiantes. La información (fragmentaria, contradictoria, especulativa) aventura hipótesis abyectas. La primera noticia verificada es que ocurrió un cataclismo. Días más tarde, se confirma lo imposible: la capital de Portugal ha sido devastada. Las noticias sobre la tragedia refuerzan el desasosiego de una Venezuela arruinada y envilecida por el militarismo. En medio del marasmo, la depresión colectiva, la falta de información y el temor (legítimo) ante un inminente apocalipsis, un profesor de educación media trata de mantener el interés de sus estudiantes por las artes, la vida y la libertad. “El síndrome de Lisboa” es una metáfora sobre la destrucción del mundo; el contraste entre la desaparición física de un país y el hundimiento moral de otro. La novela es la épica fallida (pero incansable) de los estudiantes venezolanos asfixiados por la tiranía y un diálogo romántico con la literatura portuguesa, a través de la figura melancólica y entrañable del viejo Moreira (Suburbano Ediciones).</text>

                <text>Eugenia Blanc es una joven caraqueña de clase media que desea irse definitivamente del país, hastiada de la vida sosa e insoportable de la ciudad. Luis Tévez, su compañero de clases, es un joven provocador, iconoclasta, contestatario. Ambos deciden emprender juntos un viaje a Altamira de Cáceres, en búsqueda del abuelo de Eugenia, el único que puede facilitarle la salida del país. Blue Label / Etiqueta Azul muestra en sus páginas el drama interior del personaje así como la conflictividad de un país fracturado por la desesperanza. Con un habla fresca y lúdica, los personajes se relacionan con una naturalidad que es pocas veces lograda en la novelística de nuestras letras (Sudaquia editores).</text>

                <text>Liubliana es el nombre de un ciudad, pero también el recuerdo de una pasión; el escondite secreto en el que confían los desesperados; el único reducto esperanzador. Liubliana es todo eso y mucho más. Como el libro que tiene el lector en sus sinergia de la vida, amalgama de lo humano. Este gran relato es un aeropuerto desbordado de historias cruzadas y saturado de imágenes imborrables, una montaña rusa de emociones, un caleidoscopio de vivencias pasadas. Liubliana es una trepidante historia de amor fou en varios tiempos y lugares. Hay en ella la melancolía y la nostalgia propias de toda la historia de crecimiento. Pero también hay humor e ironía a raudales. Y tragedia. Y thriller. Y el retrato de una época plagada de seres que han sido arrancados de su entorno de manera abrupta y que no han sabido manejar ese destierro. Esta gran novela coral es un compendio narrativo que le reportará a este escritor venezolano la consagración definitiva (Bruguera). </text>

                <text>La muerte que deriva del reencuentro de un antiguo grupo de amigos, los días finales de una escritora poco antes del estallido de la Guerra Civil española, el niño que ve desaparecer a su primo y compañero de juegos o la anciana que comienza a perder la memoria son algunas de las siete historias que conforman este volumen de relatos, unidos bajo un único concepto: la inocencia con la que se puede vivir entre ruinas y escombros. Estas narraciones, escritas con notoria variedad de registros y técnicas, recorren la desolación, la ternura, la sentimentalidad de seres que sobreviven como pueden, bajo una mirada desde lo más profundo de su interioridad, historias «reales» en un trasfondo mítico. Así, también, como sus protagonistas, las ciudades se suceden y se intercambian: Madrid, Caracas, Barquisimeto, Aix en Provence o la antigua Jerusalén. Pero siempre, unos y otros, acompañados por las ruinas y la desoladora belleza que permanece dentro de ellos. Ágil en ocasiones, pausado en otras, pero con una prosa siempre brillante, Juan Carlos Méndez Guédez nos regala en este En las ruinas unos relatos vívidos, latentes, sinceros. Difícil de olvidar (sinopsis editorial).

</text>

Bajo la invocación de Telémaco, personaje homérico que encarna la figura del hijo que aguarda el regreso de su padre heroico, y también nombre de uno de los veleros españoles que huyeron ilegalmente a Venezuela en el siglo XX, este volumen recupera de manera original y rapsódica, los distintos registros, géneros y matices con los que la imaginación literaria venezolana se ha desarrollado en las últimas décadas. 39 voces en activo que, desde el cuento, el poema y el ensayo, nos revelan el tesoro de una literatura que construye desde el lenguaje y la imaginación uno de los conjuntos más inquietantes del mundo artístico actual en nuestro idioma (Sinopsis editorial).

</text>

                <text>Alejandro quiere apartar a su esposa para vivir feliz junto a su amante. Simao necesita dinero y Henry lo ha dejado todo —país, trabajo y familia—para convertirse en un escritor famoso. Tres canallas, tres inocentes y, a final de cuentas, tres hombres enamorados unidos por un delirante plan. Matones, actrices pornográficas, negocios turbios, persecuciones de escritores famosos, rock de los ochenta, autócratas caribeños, secuestro de críticos literarios... Alejandro y Simao saben que el éxito de todo depende de Henry, porque él no es un escritor cualquiera: es la literatura hecha hombre. Es verdad que es bajito, gordo, torpe, pobre, feo, un «sin papeles» y que, además, no puede escribir, pero eso no importa, porque una obra relevante, siempre rompe las leyes (Sinopsis editorial).

</text>

                <text>Paula Sorsky, personaje que también aparecía ya en Nochebosque (novela que incluye este libro) y luego en Renacen las sombras (La Huerta Grande, 2021) va a cuidar durante sus vacaciones a Osip, un niño de once años. Todo es fácil. Quizá demasiado. En aquella montaña, sobre la nieve, en el chalé, en el eterno bosque de San Guinefort, la vida parece tranquila. Pero allí, ni en medio del juego, ni en la comida, ni en el sueño, nadie puede escapar al terrible placer de la carne. La verdad y la realidad se enfrentan, se cruzan, difieren en un mundo dominado por sombras siniestras. La maldad no existe, solo el hambre. La infancia es instinto y el amor, el negro olfato de una manada. Una manada voraz, sedienta de sangre, que busca en la luz de la noche la libertad roja y maldita, mortal, de los cuentos de hadas. Entre la novela gótica y la de misterio, El informe sobre Clara es un inquietante relato sobre la vida y sobre cómo os movemos y avanzamos en los planos de lo irreal y lo imaginado (Sinopsis editorial).

</text>

                <text>Desde la propuesta contemporánea del teatro se viene desarrollando una poética que transgrede las temáticas y las formas de desarrollar un discurso, lo que nos conlleva a una mirada más compleja del arte y sus acepciones. El objetivo fundamental de esta investigación es analizar la Soledad como categoría representada desde el vacío, el silencio y la violencia, cuya consecuencia es el aislamiento y el desenlace se concreta en lo grotesco y lo escatológico. Como referente metodológico, el psicoanálisis aborda el tema de la soledad como elemento que actúa en el comportamiento social del hombre y toma en cuenta cuatro puntos de tensión: la ansiedad ante la muerte, el cuerpo flagelado y lacerado, la precariedad del tiempo y el amor como estructura de posesión, tomando en cuenta la necesidad de aplicar el Teatro Comparado en un espacio en el que los límites están anulados. La poética teatral tomada en cuenta está repleta de ansiedad y de absurdo como herramientas para tratar de escapar a una cárcel laberíntica, pero finalmente llega al punto de partida que es el reconocimiento de la soledad de sus personajes. De esta forma se enriquece la temática del teatro latinoamericano y, en especial, de la dramaturgia venezolana, que finaliza en la incorporación de una forma particular de llevar el trabajo a la escena desde el Grupo Experimental de Teatro UNET y su experimentación gestual constante (Sinopsis editorial)

</text>

                <text>La literatura venezolana contemporánea es en su gran mayoría una literatura de escritores migrantes. Desde hace décadas -y por diferentes razones- escritores venezolanos han buscado instalarse en diversos lugares del mundo, habiéndose convertido los Estados Unidos, España y otros países de América Latina en algunos de los principales centros de producción literaria venezolana migrante. ¿Cómo se construye la literatura de un país cuyos creadores viven fuera de él? ¿De qué modo la experiencia migratoria interviene o modifica la escritura? ¿Cómo se redefine la sensibilidad y la idiosincrasia al verse sometida a la extranjeridad, la mudanza y las variaciones culturales? son algunas de las preguntas que este fenómeno nos obliga a hacernos. Salvar la frontera presenta al lector una muestra de cuentos de autores venezolanos migrantes para invitarse a imaginar ciertas respuestas a esas preguntas. El volumen compilado por el académico especializado en literatura venezolana Carlos Sandoval y el escritor venezolano Gustavo Valle incluye treinta relatos que brinda un amplio y diverso panorama de la narrativa venezolana actual. Integrado tanto por relatos inéditos y éditos, el volumen se destaca por la multiplicidad temática y estilística de sus textos así como la diversidad generacional, residencia y trayectoria vital y literaria de los dieciocho autores y doce autoras cuyos textos fueron incluidos. Salvar la frontera es una imprescindible muestra de la narrativa contemporánea de autores venezolanos migrantes para hacerse una idea de este fenómeno tan especial, amplio y actual que es la literatura migrante (Sinopsis editorial).

</text>
