<p>"Este Mes de la Herencia Latinx, <strong>Tiny Desk</strong> lo celebra con una edición especial de <strong>"El Tiny"</strong>, presentando una amplia variedad de artistas de todos los rincones de la Latinidad.</p>
<p>Ninguna fiesta venezolana está completa sin tequeños. Ya sea una boda o un bautizo, estos bocadillos rellenos de queso son imprescindibles en cualquier mesa de pasapalos, así que tenía sentido que <strong>Rawayana</strong> llegara a <em>El Tiny</em> con una caja para compartir.</p>
<p>Comenzando con éxitos de su álbum de 2016, <em>Trippy Caribbean</em>, la banda formada en Caracas trajo su energía contagiosa y su sonido playero a la oficina de <strong>NPR</strong>. El groove reggae que definió sus primeros temas pronto evolucionó hacia algo más amplio, dándole un giro caraqueño al funk, merengue, rock y hip-hop. El set de <strong>Rawayana</strong>—que incluyó dos sencillos de su próximo álbum, <em>¿Quién trae las cornetas?</em>—ilustró perfectamente cómo el sonido de la banda se expande y se nutre de los movimientos musicales de la diáspora caribeña para crear algo completamente nuevo.</p>

<em>“Qué Chimbo”</em> es una canción de pop urbano de la cantautora venezolana Carmen DeLeon, lanzada en diciembre de 2023. La obra utiliza el coloquialismo venezolano “chimbo” —que denota algo decepcionante o de mala calidad— como eje de una narrativa sobre el empoderamiento emocional tras una relación fallida. Con una lírica directa y rítmica, la canción retrata la lucidez que precede a una ruptura: reconocer que es mejor terminar antes de que el daño sea irreversible. El sencillo ha sido recibido como un himno de autoafirmación entre jóvenes oyentes de la diáspora y del continente.
